Medical Director
Dr. Gideon Kwok, DO, is a nationally recognized aesthetic physician, expert injector, educator, medical director, and innovator in modern aesthetic medicine.
He is the Co-Owner and Medical Director of seven Skin Perfect Medical Clinics in Southern California, where his clinics have been recognized among the top 1% of U.S. clinics in several major aesthetic treatment categories, including CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, and the Galderma injectable portfolio.
Dr. Kwok earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed Family Medicine residency training through UCLA/Santa Monica. He began his career in aesthetic medicine in 2004 with the founding of Skin Perfect Medical Aesthetics and has since become widely respected for his advanced injection techniques, facial balancing, thread lifting, and non-surgical cosmetic innovation.
As the Co-Founder of The Aesthetic Immersion, Dr. Kwok helped create one of the leading aesthetic training platforms for medical professionals. The Aesthetic Immersion provides advanced education, hands-on training, virtual mentorship, live demonstrations, cadaver dissection training, and provider-focused instruction designed to improve safety, technique, confidence, and patient outcomes in aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Kwok is also a national and international speaker, trainer, and faculty educator for several leading aesthetic companies, including Galderma, Merz Aesthetics, Cutera, Bioform/Radiesse, Benev, Miracu, and MINT PDO Threads. Known publicly as @dr.gunsandneedles, he is respected for his advanced technique, global aesthetic perspective, and ability to bring new and innovative treatment concepts into modern medical aesthetics.
In addition to his leadership in aesthetics, Dr. Kwok actively integrates new medical advancements in longevity, weight loss, gut health, hormone therapy, regenerative wellness, and aesthetic medicine into his clinics. Ahmed Mahdi, DNP, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in telehealth-delivered hormone therapy, metabolic wellness, aesthetics, regenerative medicine, pain-relief procedures, and advanced injection therapies.
Ahmed earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University, with a doctoral project focused on Semaglutide vs. Phentermine for weight loss.
